Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. To delete your DecodeHer account and associated data, follow the steps below.

Option 1 — In-App (Recommended)

1. Open the DecodeHer app.
2. Tap your profile icon or go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion. Your account is removed immediately.

Option 2 — Email Request

If you can't access the app, email us at contact@pvfreund.com with the subject line "Delete My DecodeHer Account". Include the email address linked to your account. We will process your request within 7 days.

Delete Specific Data (Without Deleting Your Account)

You don't need to delete your account to remove specific data. All conversation data is stored locally on your device and is fully under your control within the app.

• Delete a profile: On the home screen, long-press any profile card and confirm deletion. This removes the profile and all its messages, decoded results, and ask sessions.
• Delete a message: Inside a profile, long-press any message to delete it individually.
• Delete all local data: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all profiles, messages, and conversation history from your device.

None of this requires contacting us — it happens instantly within the app. Your account and subscription remain active.
